Prayer
O Queen of the Holy Mount Lussari,
who for more than six hundred years have watched over the place where the three peoples of Europe meet—the Latin, the Slavic and the Germanic—preserve the treasure of peace, the longing of every heart and God’s gift to all people of good will.
Grant that the peoples of Europe may meet in fraternal understanding, with mutual esteem and respect, fostering our shared Christian civilization. Bless all those who come before You and who, though speaking different languages, praise and honour You with the same faith and the same love as the Mother of God and our Mother.
O faithful Virgin, Help of Christians, enlighten those who have strayed from the faith, and grant that all Your children throughout Europe may sincerely seek the truth in charity, so that the Church of Christ, according to the prayer of Your divine Son Jesus, may be one, the Mother of all in grace and salvation.

The local people began building the Way of the Cross during the uncertain years following the First World War, completing the first six stations. The outbreak of the Second World War interrupted the work, which was never resumed after the conflict ended.
I desire that the Jubilee Indulgence may become for everyone a genuine experience of God’s mercy, who comes to meet us all with the face of the Father who welcomes and forgives, completely forgetting every sin committed. To receive the Indulgence, the faithful are invited to make a short pilgrimage to the Holy Door, opened in every Cathedral or in churches designated by the diocesan Bishop, as well as in the four Papal Basilicas in Rome, as a sign of the deep desire for true conversion.
